コロニー イン(Colony Inn)

I stayed at the Colony Inn with my 2 adult daughters for 10 nights whilst one of them attended a dance program in North Hollywood. The location was perfect for our needs - close to the studio and walking distance to public transport and a variety of food vendors. The Hotel is basic but clean and well maintained. A hair dryer and iron were available on request. The room was serviced each day.

Good location. Staff was solid. Clean room with nice bed. There is traffic noise as you are close to it.

If it’s the last place

Basic rundown motel. Stayed 2 nights but room was not serviced. Only advantage was proximity to Universal Studios.

Great location for our universal studio trip. The front desk staff is really helpful. Great value for this price.

We came for a family trip to go to Universal. We were looking for a place that didn’t cost an arm and a leg and prayed it wouldn’t be a dump. We checked in and the staff/owners were SO friendly. We got to our room and were thrilled. It was so clean, the beds were comfy, and there was plenty of room for all 5 of us. We needed a plug for our tub and when we called front desk, they were SO nice and helpful and had it replaced in minutes. It was an excellent, inexpensive stay and we would 100% stay there again. It’s minutes from universal and walking distance to different restaurants. Even with the Cali traffic, you couldn’t hear it from in the room. You couldn’t hear people walk by or anything. It was such a great stay. Thank you.

The staff was wonderful. We got a call to make sure we were still coming, which was nice as we were going to have a very late arrival time. The rooms were clean, but furniture was quite dated. No bedside tables which is a problem for me. The place is very quiet which is always a plus.

The place does not look good on the outside. But once you get to the rooms the impression changes. The rooms are very very nice, super clean and spacious. We are very happy with this reservation.

Room was spacious but the cleanliness was horrendous. The pillows were stained yellow and there were remnants of the past families that stayed there not to mention the dirty AC unit and the greasy tv remote.
