Check in was good room was lovely nice bathroom location good unfortunately we got in the 4 person lift on 2nd day and it broke down went completely black very frightening because it was small and hot luckily we weren't stuck in there too long any longer and manic would have set in and i never got back in it again. Air con was hit and miss sometimes it worked sometimes it didn't. Service at breakfast was disappointing waiter needed to be more proactive no teaspoons on saucers asked 1st day and had to ask 2nd day for them as well needed jug of milk on table for drinks as had to keep getting up to use large jug on the side which was put out for cereals. Only cooked breakfast was bacon and egg and it was just that no beans no mushrooms and the bacon was like shoe leather asked 2nd day for it to be less well done unfortunately just the same. Overall very disappointing.

We were very comfortable. The cleanliness of the bathroom on arrival was impressive. The rest of the accommodation was top. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The only reason we did not think it was very eco friendly is because it had no double or secondary glazing and this led to condensation on the windows. We were on the second floor and we used the lift but is was a struggle with luggage on arrival as we then had to negotiate stairs as well. Overall though we would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is very conveniently located and an easy 5-7 minute walk to the train station! Plenty of places to eat in the area too. One heads up is that the rooms are tiny! Perfect for one person but tight for two! Friendly and nice staff!

Safe property in the heart of south kensington. Didn’t get the room choice we had asked for and no cooked breakfast sat & sun.

The room had a loose bathroom handle and one of the bathroom light fittings appeared displaced. The power failed in the lift on one occasion, leaving us in the dark. Breakfast was very disappointing. The dining room was far too small and the fruit was decaying. Both of our breakfast orders were incorrectly responded to. This is a management shortfall - the staff are making an appropriate effort, but there are significsant problems, including safety issues. This business should be inspected for safety.

Terrible food (got food poisoning), the variety of food options at breakfast was extremally limited (this is not a 4 start hotel menu). Room was not that clean, piles of dust under the bed and all around room corners, black long fuzzy hairs on new washed bathroom towels. The location of the hotel was great though.

Not much privacy in bathroom as no door and very small. service friendly but slow. Too noisy as lift outside room. Very clean. Would not stay again

Front door locked at 3pm rang the bell multiple times with no answer, queued with other guests to get in as there were insufficient staff. Bombarded by emails from the hotel before and during the stay. They insisted on production of a passport or photo id even if you’re a UK resident. Almost refused the English couple in front of us until his wife produced a driving license. Over complicated and officious booking in procedures actually put me off staying here again. Almost harassment
