Property is recently renovated, clean and really nice for the price. The front desk employee at check in was also very nice. But, the bed was pretty hard, pillows flat and room was noisy - at least ours was. We stayed in a 2nd floor room that was right across from the opening to the lobby below. The noise carries EXTREMELY well and it sounded like the people were in our room. This would be fine during the day, but at midnight when drunken guests are loudly talking and laughing while hanging out in the lobby, this is not okay. A staff member should have asked them to move along or quiet down, but this did not occur and we barely got any sleep as a result - the whole purpose of this stay was to be close to EWR for an early flight. And then, heavy-eyed and exhausted, we went to breakfast. The bagels were the worst I'd ever seen at a hotel breakfast - worst than, say, Lender's at the grocery store. They were bone dry and hard, as well as tasteless. We didn't bother with any of the other offerings after trying them.
So overall, the price was right and in a different room away from the lobby, we might've slept better. But I don't know that we'd take the risk choosing this location knowing the lobby noise could keep us up for hours at night.
