This property is OK. There is a lot of deferred maintenance to be done but they are also starting what looks like a major renovation. Many semi's offloading furniture. That was inconvenient but not terrible. The staff was neither great nor terrible - typical customer service these days. Housekeeping staff was very attentive and pleasant. Breakfast was disappointing. If you didn't want a waffle, your choices were extremely limited. Coffee was good. In room amenities were lacking but this is a lower priced property. For the price, it was fine. My biggest complaint was that I booked through ******* and chose "Pay at the Property". I wanted to pay cash. The young man at check in never asked for a card or gave me a choice. I had just driven 12 hours through Mexico so I was not the sharpest crayon in the box at that point. He ended up just charging through ******* which went onto a card I had not intended to use. It worked out but wasn't how it should have gone. I got a blank stare from the girl at the front desk when I checked out and told her about it. Oh well.
