Amazing place right on the beach in the quieter end of the beach, but still in walking distance to plenty of restaurants. We stayed in a deluxe beach front bungalow 5 meters from the water front and perfect views of both the sea and the bay, not to mention the beautiful sunsets.

We had an amazing experience here in koh tao and extremely happy to have stayed here! The resort is right on the beach front and we opted for the beachfront villa which was so worth it. Great scenery with the sea and then the jungle right behind. 10 minute walk to the busy part of koh Tao just along the beach with plenty of restaurants for dinner. Also cheap scoter rentals from the resort. They also pick you up from the pier and take you back - great service.

I really want to review the Palm Leaf Cafe which is a part of Palm Leaf Resort. As a family we ate there a number of times and were always satisfied. They have the best tom yum koong I've ever had (and I've had many), but other dishes (stir fried and curries) were very good as well. Overall, highly recommended.

Amazing location - feels like you have a private beach, the sun is constantly on the sun beds through the day, and the sea is so warm. The rooms are really nice with great AC and towels for beach and shower topped up daily, plus two bottles of water in the fridge. The bar does lovely food and has happy hour with very nice cocktails. The staff are very helpful and you can get your washing done with the hotel the same day. Would recommend to anyone visiting Koh Tao and will hopefully be returning.

Very nice place to relax. Almost at the end of the beach, very quiet safe and clean. Cottage style dwellings which are well maintained. Staff was great and the two sisters that run the resort made sure I was met at my best and also got me a reservation back to Samui even after. It showed booked online. If you like the Thai food it is delicious and prepared well. I would recommend if you're going to Koh Tao to check it out.

Love this resort and the lovely lady at reception! She booked our transportation to our next hotel and was incredibly kind! Great place to stay at and steps away from the beach!! Definitely recommend!

We stayed here for 3 night, the shower is very close to the toilet. The bathroom floor was soaking wet every night with multiple towels needed to mop up the water. We realised it was the toilet leaking on our last day and not just shower water. We informed reception straight away, they offered us to move rooms but we did not want to as we would need to repack our things then unpack just to repack before checking out in just over 12 hours time. We asked for a partial refund, the reception lady laughed at us multiple times and point blanked refused to even consider a partial refund for the substandard room. We explained why we did not want to move and then she said we could stay in the room but not allowed to use the toilet. This went on for around 20 minutes when she then become irate and started shouting at us and threatened to call the police, even though we remained calm and have done nothing wrong. My advice is do not stay here, the customer service is horrible and they do not live up to the hospitable nature of Thai people.

Please don’t stay at this place! We booked a standard bungalow almost 50€ a night which is not that cheap compared to other places in Koh Tao and Thailand in general. Bungalow itself is extremely small, you feel yourself as in the coffin in that tiny room, you barely can put any stuff there. There is no bedside table, just mini fridge on ONE side of the bed, so all my stuff I had to put there…this accommodation is max for 1 person, not 2 (we were only backpacking, so not a lot of things with us). Inside is very hot so you always need to turn on air conditioner which is a bit noisy and old. The room needs to be renovated: furniture is old, shower is broken and looks not hygienic, and only slightly warm water comes out. In the bathroom there is weird stair between shower and toilet, so I almost fell twice. Beach is there but there is almost no water in the see till the evening and stinks like dead fish, especially in the morning. There was also no electricity one day for around 5 hours. Lady at reception is not very friendly and cares only about the money trying to sell all possible services. Really, I am not over reacting but this place is one of the worst I have ever stayed and definitely not worth this money. There are plenty other hotels around for the lower price than this . I won’t recommend this place!

I had a negative experience with Palm Leaf Resort when I accidentally booked a room, due to misleading information, that wasn't aligned with my travel route. Within TWO HOURS of making the reservation, I promptly canceled and requested a refund of the $350 I had paid. Despite explaining the situation in a formal letter, the resort refused to refund me, displaying a lack of understanding and empathy towards a genuine human error. Their rigid and unyielding approach, prioritizing monetary gain over customer service, left me deeply dissatisfied. I caution others to be wary of Palm Leaf Resort's poor customer service and suggest they explore alternative options that prioritize customer satisfaction.
