ザ・アンダマニア リゾート(Andamania Beach Resort)

We stayed here for 2 magical weeks in November, love this hotel, the location and the great staff! This is our second time staying here and we will certainly be back, we stayed in room 106 which was wonderful and very convenient for the beach and pool. The location on the the long sandy beach which you can walk along for hours is superb, very good for swimming also!! They have a lovely beach restaurant and bar which serves delicious food and drinks til quite late in the evening. Thank you for yet another wonderful stay, we will certainly be back!!

We didn’t stay in the hotel but passed the beach bar on the way to dinner so thought we would stop for a drink, it was very disappointing, the wine was more expensive than the other places near by and smaller glasses, would not return. They need to make more effort to attract people back , once was enough, other local bars next door are much better value and more welcoming.

Good clean hotel on a lovely stretch of beach with a handful of beach restaurants next door. Mainly older couples so quiet, no pool music or thumping bar in the evenings. Relaxing and overall good value. Will consider coming again.

They are doing some remodeling and still have work to do, but great staff and excellent beach location.

In general, a charming place with a great beach location, and very friendly staff. Drawbacks were that they seem to be undergoing some renovation work right now, leaving the distinct impression that there is still work to be done. There were also a few ants in the room, but more of an annoyance then a big problem. The beach location and sunset watching are unbeatable. The staff was warm and friendly, always attempting to be helpful. The breakfast was primarily western and well-prepared. The clientele was mainly European, primarily older couples and families, so very quiet. If you are expecting, polished, elegance, or a glamorous scene, this is probably not your place. If you want, friendly, clean, and well located accommodations, I would recommend staying here.

Andamanis Resort is situated on one of the best unspoilt beaches in Khao Lak. Kuch Khak beach goes on for miles on both sides of the resort. Beaches clean and a good gradient for entering the sea. Numerous small restaurants and msssage areas adjacent to the hotel and on the beach. Hotel itself is situated in beautiful well maintained gardens. It is smallish traditional Thai style hotel in a secluded area. A few larger hotels nearby but we preferred the smaller more intimate experience. The room was clean and tbe bathroom very colourful. Sunloungers at the entrance just in case you didnt walk tbe 30 metres to the pool or 50 metres to the beach. Staff very helpful and accomodating. Wi fi okay in our room and on the beach areas. Wi fi also acailable in local bars and restaurants. Adequate comfortable sun beds at pool and on the entrance to beach. Sun shade provided by parasols but also from tbe large trees. Food and drink at the hotel of good standard and price. Very competitive with the local bars. A few supermarkets within 10 minute walk. The hotel is rated 3 stars but we would suggest this is a lower rating than we would attach. If you like a smallet hotel them 4 stsrs would be our rating. Thoroughly enjoyed our week and would recommend to similar minded persons.

We had a wonderful vacation at the Andamania Beach resort. This is a magical place, beautiful in every detail and the location is the best in the whole area. The beach and the gardens are gorgeous, perfect with palms and flowers and very well maintained. Everyone working at the resort are lovely, friendly and helpful, nothing was a problem, only smiles and kindness from all . It was a joy to come back to our room every day and see what animal was created on our bed in towels :-) The room itself was spotless and every detail was perfect!! The bed was super comfortable and we slept very well, with the sound of the ocean and crickets from the trees. The hotel is right on the beach with plenty of sunbeds and helpful staff to assist if ekstra umbrella needed. There is a lovely beach bar with great drinks and they also take orders right on the beach!! The restaurant is also great, right on the sand, just steps away from the ocean - really great food and friendly service. The breakfast is served in a outdoor restaurant with freshly cooked eggs and omeletts, lots of fresh fruits and lots of smiles from the staff. They serve breakfast from 7.30-10-30 so lots of time for a walk on the beach and a swim before breakfast. The beach is among the best I have seen in Thailand, you can walk for miles along untouched beaches in both directions. Really clean and wonderful for swimming. There are lots of local restaurants and bars close by along the beach, we ate our favorite lunch at 8 fish just next-door . Be friend was also really great food and service. There is good massage at the hotel and along the beach we had the best massage with Pian and Kay at the Andeman Beach massage. Thankyou so much to the whole team who made our holiday so special!! We look forwards to coming back again very soon - maybe bringing the whole family😀

We spent eight days here and enjoyed every minute. The staff are friendly and the hotel is quietly located right on a great Sandy beach, with a few family run restaurants close by. They offer a free shuttle bus to the town if you need variety.

I loved this hotel even more than all the luxury properties I've stayed at. Low key, on an almost empty beach, Khao Lak is suffering because of covid. The service was excellent. I believe I got a fantastic deal and ended up staying there for two weeks instead of the planned two days. It's the sort of place where everyone is extremely kind and smiling. They are traditional about the way they upkeep the property. I didn't see one vacuum cleaner the whole time I was there. They swept the floors. Somehow it was one of the cleanest properties I have ever seen in my life. Food is not fantastic for the price but there is a local restaurant called Be Friend right next to the property on the beach which is EXCELLENT, and relatively cheap. Breakfast was average. It is an unbelievable deal for the area. I couldn't believe it. This is what I was hoping to find in Thailand. Many thanks to the staff.
