This is my third stay with Citrus Hotel actually. However the recent stay was horrendous.
I worked up in the middle of night and realised the power was being cut, thus I felt stuffy in the room and proceed to the reception at lobby to find out. Hotel staff informed me that the power was cut and will resume in half an hour, but in vain it was only recovered at around 2.30am. My family members staying in another feeling perturbed and uncertain if we should exit, check out and relocate to a nearby hotel. As my elder parent has mobility issues thus I waited out eventually.
The hotel has no sense of urgency and no contingency plan to update and assist the clients staying. THE Guest Lift, Air conditioning, and lighting are not available in our guest room during the power shut down. No apologies or announcements were made to reconcile the situation. I am very disappointed 😞
I hope to hear from their management team what has actually happened. I did not slept well and either were my family and other guests.
