The room was dark and dinghy. With it being a sad state of repair. The extractor fan didn't work, so it took an age for the steam to clear after a shower. The walls in the bathroom had mould forming, which has not been dealt with properly. The bathroom smelt of urine and the wood panels surrounding the toilet were beginning to warp and peel. Room in a generally tatty state including a lot of bulbs not working. Missing and cracked paint and plaster. Asked for this to be fixed on our way out, and nothing sorted. Too tired to argue when we returned after being out all evening. Palmed off to Guest Relations as manager 'busy'. Very disappointed as Premier Inns are normally quite good, but this one is in dire need of some TLC.
