Super 8 by Wyndham Greenville

Online booking travllers: Don't choose this hotel. The hotel owner is trying to steal your money from your credit card..I stayed in this hotel for my rental oppoval, and booked the same hotel several time. The hotel owner arranged me to stay in a more expensive room (double queen-sized beds but I was myself). When I booked a room online cheaper than that room, he would charge money because I stayed in a more expensive room. He said that he did me a favor not to let me to move around. He also said he could not earn any money from online booking. But why he put his hotel online anyway!

The key cards would not unlock the door, the phone would not work. The commode needed flushing and we called up to the front desk to ask them to plunge it and they told my husband to come and get the plunger. That wasn’t my husband’s problem. We wanted orange juice the first morning we were there and the manager told us the machine as out of order, but he would get it fixed that day. Next day still no orange juice. We have stayed here many times, but they had a different manager at the times and we never had any troubles. We won’t stay there again.

Better than the last place we stayed still there are a few things that could be improved. The breakfast was eh. There should have been more and the juice machine was broken. Then they put us on 2nd floor with no elevator so we were having to lug our stuff up the steps. And the sink was clogged up. It wasnt the worst and at least didnt have bugs but it could have been better as well.

I was Booked for 4 Nights!!! First room (#109) was full of Roaches!!!😠 I became very upset and wanted a refund so I could leave, but I couldn't get My Refund for days!!! Then they offered Me a Room change on the 2nd floor!!!😏 Even though I'm Disabled and have difficulty walking I accepted after the Very Nice Lady showed Me several Much Cleaner & Nicer looking rooms!!!😌 I still slept Uneasy, but finished My stay & Suggested "Combat Gel" for Their Self Extermination process!!! (MrsP)!!!🤔

Very nice hotel for the price and the staff were very friendly and helpful when I needed to extend my stay.

Very disappointed with overall stay . Room (BOOKED A NON-SMOKING ROOM)smelled like cigarettes and my items/clothes smelled the same when I departed the next day . Amenities were lacking like the Free breakfast that served few items . The listing shown on your website does not accurately reveal the conditions that presently exist at this lodging establishment . I would not recommend this hotel to others and feel that I should be compensated for a bad experience at a Wyndham brand hotel.

Staff took 30 minutes to check me in. Kept asking same questions. Seemed very incompetent with how to use booking system. Gave me the wrong room number so keys didn't work and I had to go back to the front desk again for another ten minutes before they figured out they wrote the wrong room number on my key card.

Front Desk was very nice but the rooms were disgusting. The carpet was horrible. I had to have them come and change the sheets on the bed due to their being stains on the sheets. Pillow cases had stains on them. Towels were still dirty. Otherwise a decent stay. they serve breakfast, but all they had available was waffles, cereal, and oatmeal.

We were so disappointed in our stay at the Super 8 in Greenville. We asked for a non smoking room , and was given a non smoking room , which reeked of smoke !! The smell of smoke, ( and I’m pretty sure ********* ) as you enter the building was overwhelming. The scent was in our cloths, luggage , and still in our vehicle from having the luggage and belongings in there for the ride home. The fire detector in our room was covered in masking tape , huge fire hazard. The doors, chairs , and basically everything in the room was worn out. The screen on our window was bent and damaged ,( we know this because we tried to open the window to get some fresh air into our room. The continental breakfast was served in a guest room on our floor , which smelled awful and just gave off bad cleanliness vibes. I could go and on , but I will stop here with the worst part . Super 8, do better, it’s time for a renovation , rip the nasty carpet up, paint the walls, give this place an overhaul.
