ホテル コロラド(Hotel Colorado)

We had a great stay at hotel Colorado in Glenwood Springs. Of course it’s amazing to stay in an iconic hotel that has existed for 130 years, and it’s charm and decor do not disappoint. The renovated rooms have maintained their charm, while having a little style update. The staff is amazing – very helpful and willing to make sure that your stay is an enjoyable one. In the summer, do not miss dining on the patio.

Large room, but small bathroom. It's what we expected from a Historic Hotel. I was a bit surprised the hotel didn't provide free parking. However, we were able to score a spot on the street, which was free. The hotel has a picture of the hot springs on its gallery slideshow, but they do not have hot springs at the hotel, nor do they provide free or discounted tickets to the hot springs. A little decieving, but after the fact I noticed in small print that the hot springs are a short walk away.

Beautiful old school hotel. Lovely, old fashioned bedrooms but updated bathrooms. Great, helpful staff! Shuttle to area attractions. Free parking! Amazing value for cost! Highly recommend!!

I love staying here. You can walk to everything and the room is really nice. Just wish they had a mini fridge in the room.

Very unwelcoming experience upon check in. Lady at the desk was not friendly but other staff members were. Upon check in we were not offered help with our suitcases so we had to unload our suitcases on the dolly and push it to our room. Once we entered the room we explored to confirm its cleanliness and found urine stains on the toilet seat. The two positive notes I would add are Dan (I think that’s his name), offered to assist us with our suitcases upon check out and shared historical facts and experiences about the property. The second positive note is that they allowed us for a later check out (12pm), but you need to ask. Bonus note: property is pet friendly

Overall the visit was pleasant. The hotel is beautiful and huge! The hallways and lobby and staircase are absolutely gorgeous. Staff was amazing both when checking out and checking in. My complaint is about the room itself. Could really use a little upgrading and better cleaning in the bathroom. Also our coffee pods were used as well as the sugar and creamer. Luckily I had brought my own so that was no problem but there was no fridge or microwave in the room for storing our cold drinks. I got the classic king and I guess I just expected it to be a little bit nicer. The bed was very comfortable though! And we could open the window and feel the cool Air which was a nice plus. All in all it was a good stay.

I love the history of the hotel I do wish it had a microwave and a fridge or either or The radiator was kinda noisy and woke me up a few times All in all it was a great stay and service

We had a decent stay, but we were not able to relax or sleep in because deliveries were being made early in the morning. We were woken with these terrible grinding noises, gates opening, etc. this was super disappointing because we don’t have opportunity to sleep in at home (children). The historical aspect was very interesting and we loved walking around reading the history. The hotel is very clean, but the room temperature was also inconsistent and the system was loud. Light sleepers, beware.
