Didn't like anything, no consideration for guests that are sleeping, permanent guess have no respect for travellers, making noise talking being loud, been woken up at 1am by music playing..

Room was ok for a one night stay. The gravel parking lot was a bit noisy as cars drove in and out, room was not functional with outlets not usable due to their locations, main light did not work properly.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The check in was really easy and well handled with a friendly smile. And the cleaning lady was not only working SUPER hard to get the rooms ready in hot and humid weather, but she was friendly, helpful and approachable. It was a real shame the pool was still out of service, but the staff were extremely apologetic about it and explained the issue was with the broken pool pump. The room was clean and comfortable. The fridge is tiny and the freezer part doesn't actually get down to freezing temperature, but this was really only an issue because I was going camping and needed to keep things cold. Location is pretty good - steps away from the supermarket and some food places and 5 minutes drive to the Heron Island Ferry. There do seem to be a lot of "residential" units where long-termers are staying, but all seemed quite friendly. The restaurant staff use the motel carpark so you may not always be able to park in front of your own unit but there did seem to be adequate parking in the lot.

Need to update your old photos of WOTIF it is despicable how you can try and pass off clean rooms and a air conditioner that you can't even control, might I suggest putting in some carpets.

Realised it was a budget motel when booking but on entry to the room there was one bed, one chair, a fridge big enough to hold 6 cans of drink which also froze everything in it. Cupboards in the bathroom would not close, paint peeling off walls and doors. Bed moved if you sat in it. Was absolutely disgraceful. Pressed bell for reception and waited over 5 minutes for someone to respond. When they arrived there was no welcome, no apology for the wait.

I enjoyed my stay there. The location was good, the service was friendly, the bed was comfy and I had everything I needed. Jug, Toaster, microwave, aircon...

Room had stained carpet and room had bad odour. We checked in and left within 5 mins. Reception was messy and not welcoming when checked in. When I went back 5 mins later the reception was closed so could not discuss with any staff. Sign said reception open until 6pm and this was well before. Was a waste of money. Only booked for a cheap night sleep when travelling and wasn’t expecting much for the price but could not bring myself to stay in this place.

Outdoor area was dirty, discared blue rubber glove lying outside our door. Parking area was dirty, Discarded paper and dirt everywhere Drunk guy staggering around (this was 7pm at night) Shouting from across the way made us feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. Mattress just stacked up against our window, old unplugged fridge standing next to our door. Someones car parked in the bay to our room. Badly stained carpet with what looked like a patch of dried blood on it. Looks uncared for Door to the bathroom was rotten with peeling paint at the bottom. Looks like they have permanetn residents living in some of the rooms. I have stayed in much cleaner and nicer places for less money in Australia.
