ハイアット プレイス フローレンス ダウンタウン(Hyatt Place Florence Downtown)

The person who checked me in was wonderful. The rooms are spacious and the gym is decent. There are several good restaurants within a few blocks.

The are where the hotel was located seemed like a more safe quiet area than many other parts of Florence, SC. The food at the hotel restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. Additionally, the free breakfast was nice feature and the food was good. The staff was very nice and the hotel overall was very nice. The only real issue that I had was with the Shower pressure, it was extremely weak even though the pressure in the bathroom sink was strong. Some items that would have made the stay more enjoyable are an indoor pool, a better gym, and if the rooms had a small studio type layout with a small kitchenette or full kitchen. Thank You.

There are two drawbacks to this property. First (and most significant) is that parking is a block away so you need to schlep your bags a bit. Second, there is a fairly actively train track nearby. We were at the end of the hotel facing the tracks. I did hear a train once but it was very quiet (unlike the train in My Cousin Vinny :-). The hotel is in a good location (downtown as it says). Couple of bars and restaurants within a block or so.

Rooms were good and clean with good space. We felt the breakfast could have been better as the second day we had breakfast at a local restaurant unfortunately.

We were there 3 days and there was no room cleaning service and we asked the evening of the last night to have the room cleaned and there cleaning people were all gone. We were never told about the cleaning arrangements.

Beautiful hotel and furnishings. Room and bath spotless. Heat AC excellent system and quiet. Bed great. Water pressure so weak shower was really difficult. Bkfst poorly managed. Parking is offsite.

Staff was super helpful. It was the perfect hotel if you want to explore downtown Florence! We will stay there again.

The staff is not attentive and certainly don't have good customer service skills. The hotel is decent but overpriced for the amenities you get and the area it is in.

Very nice new hotel. Only problem is parking is across the street and a bit of a distance away.
