We were pleasantly surprised by the size of our king room suite. The full sized refrigerator was a huge plus. It did need some attention given to the carpet in the living room area as there are (what looked like) tomato sauce stains and a juice stain. It also needed vacuumed better. The mattress was softer than we are normally used to, but wasn't bad. I think it's the first hotel room I've ever walked into and the a/c was actually on and the room was nice and cool. The breakfast was a normal hotel breakfast, w/o orange juice. Nothing special. My husband said "they use real eggs and not carton or powdered." Being a holiday weekend, they were having trouble keeping up with the supply/demand for breakfast. It is noisy at night until about midnight with cars and motorcycles flying up/down the street. Music across the street is also pretty loud. I cannot say enough about the front desk staff. Matt was extremely nice when we checked in, and he also came up to the room because we couldn't figure out the bedroom TV. It's only about a 3-4 minute drive to Presque Isle State Park. All in all I would consider staying here again.

The hotel on the outside looked nice. A great view. The inside was another matter. Our room was not so nice. Good size and quiet, however, cleanliness was another story, The floor still had some metallic glitter on it from a previous visitor. The dishwasher was full but dishes didn’t seem very clean nor was there any dishwasher detergent in the room. There were many things that were just not great. The bed was not bad but not sure i would want to stay there again.

Very echoy and loud people running and banging above us was like they were in the room.Not enough towels, no staff to be found most of the time. Room was never cleaned no new towels they ignored our request. Breakfast was the saddest I've ever seen in a hotel. The faucet on the Jacuzzi tub was so wobbly it shook while filling the tub, no bath mat and as mentioned only 2 towels for a room with 2 tubs. No recycling bin. Room being on first floor right across from pool was very loud, feels like the people who built it said let's check off all these boxes so it looks good on paper but did it all at bare bones level. Sound proofing is non existant and even just walking by rooms you can hear everything. No decor to speak of. Not impressed and will not return or recommend to family who visit. The hotel part of this staycation was abysmal and I have been in hotels world wide of all levels.

I want to first say this is our third stay here ( in a year and a half) and it has progressively gotten worse every time. We booked the hotel for a family weekend stay and my young son (10) couldn’t wait to swim in the pool and we were excited to relax in the hot tub. Sadly, they pool and hot tub were not in service AGAIN. I say again because last summer we stayed here and the pool & hot tub was out of service so this is nothing new. I just wish it would have stated pool out of order because I would not have booked this stay. The breakfast had very little & no coffee for an hour. Our room was nice & clean. The staff was VERY nice, all the ladies were sweet & extremely nice! I’m sad to say this is our last visit here.

We got there no towels in our room. We ask for some they gave us 2 for both of us. Next morning i ask for some towels they said they dont have any. There snack has nothing really. Breakfast sucks. The bar wasn't stocked. We stay here a few times a year and has never been bad. Idk what is going on but i honestly dont think ill stay here again.

Jennifer at the front desk was awesome. We inadvertently left a wallet behind, which she recovered and kept safe until we returned. Very honest and upstanding!

Excellent staff, quick checking and ahe was helpful and informative. Highly recommend a stay.

Very clean but there were no towels in my room or at the pool but other then that it was great!

Stayed here for a second time, and had an even better experience this time. Nice staff, clean, and great value.
