酒店位置很好！ 特別是晚上的前台職員非常有禮貌，very helpful。 酒店早餐係自助，14€一人，不過食物種類不多。

Old Hotel in the centre of Cognac with places to shop & eat within walking distance. Please note it has 3*’s now. It has a lovely informal atmosphere & l think that’s down to the staff who are very welcoming & friendly. It has modern rooms which were very clean. Very comfortable bed & pillows. Separate loo, good shower, over head & hand held. Air con, kettle etc. Lift for those who need it. Two slightly disappointing things tea - herbal & coffee - Nescafé sachets- in rooms. At breakfast only tiny Pain au chocolat, croissants etc which didn’t taste very fresh & some mornings the fresh coffee looked like it had been stewed & didn’t taste very nice. There was plenty of choice eggs; bacon,‘sausages’, cold meats, cheeses, fruit, yogurts, breads, jams etc. l would certainly recommend it if anyone asked.

I am not sure why this hotel is graded only as 2 stars. Certainly our room was upgraded on arrival but the hotel is much better than some 3 stars in which we have stayed. The facade is old and beautiful and the interior has been remodelled to a high standard. All the staff were excellent, especially the waiter who worked in the breakfast room this morning (25th) and whoever is responsible for cleaning the rooms. Our room was spotless. A very comfortable bed. My only suggestion would be to improve what was a good breakfast, for example a selection of cheeses, a greater selection of fresh fruit and more plates and cutlery to hand. Finally the hotel is well situated in a pedestrian street with a lovely square nearby. We enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is lovely. Beds were comfortable and staff friendly.breakfast was good The only problem we had was with the parking. We asked staff where we could park our motorbike and they told us to leave it up the road in the village square. They did not tell us that there was a market the next day and we should move it by 7am. The receptionist subsequently told us that they were phoned by the stall holder at 7am. But did not want to wake us up!!! This resulted in our bike being forcibly moved and the wheel was damaged. We had to get the bike repaired.at our expense Luckily the local bike shop Were very helpful and we were able to go on our way. The hotel staff were apologetic, but then told us we could have parked in the hotel garage !!! So overall a nice place to stay. But communication could have been better and we ended up out of pocket. So If you go watch out for the parking !

Wow. What an experience the heritage is! The hotel has been recently renovated to a very high standard and has everything you would ever need. The reception was very well handled and all of the staff have been absolutely wonderful. A special mention to Louise, sarah and carla who were just the best! Nothing was ever too much for us all considering we were with a huge party of family attending a wedding. The room we had was an accessibility room, decent sized but may be a struggle with a wheelchair but table could be moved if needed. The bed was sublime! I have never slept so well and huge! The shower was excellent, although we did have an issue with water leaking into the bedroom but both the cleaners who were excellent (saline and nadia) sorted the issue straight away. The breakfast was lovely, did have to get down there early to get a cooked breakfast though as the hot food isn't replenished. Fresh bread and pastries however were plentiful and delicious. The tv in the room we had wasn't great for english channels but we were hardly in the room so not much of an issue. The bar is always open for whatever you need. The location of the hotel is simply perfect as it is close to the main areas and close to the stunning park. We didn't go to the restaurant but heard very good things about the food so well worth a try! We will hope to return as a couple in the future and look forward to it very much! We loved this hotel. If you really want to feel you are in France, this Belle Epoch hotel is for you. We arrived St Malo at 08.15 and driving very steadily arrived Cognac about four. Paid one hour parking right behind the hotel as only pay to five and then after nine. We had a lovely walk around Cognac, a drink in the bar and a simple but good meal. Breakfast was equally good. Staff throughout were friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

Charming old style building with modern rooms. It has a beautiful old courtyard restaurant with a selection of good food on offer and reasonably priced. The staff were very nice and very helpful and spoke very good English. Will definitely stay again if in the area.
