カントリー イン & スイーツ バイ ラディソン クリントン アイオワ(Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Clinton, IA)

We were planning on a two night stay but the beds were so hard, we drove home after the 1st night. Other than the bed, everything and everyone was great.

This is not a good hotel. Literally had bugs crawling in the bed. I kept waking up feeling like bugs were crawling on me. Sure enough there were ants and a bed bug looking bug crawling on me. They gave us a different room which reeked of smoke. Its not a clean hotel at all. Hot tub was ICE cold. Bath tubs were yucky. Furniture was very dirty and torn/worn. Breakfast was very minimal. Didn't even have waffles. All hotels have waffles. Biscuits for Biscuits and gravy were hard as a rock and didn't even have a microwave to warm them up. Wont be going back to that one. The quality next door looked even worse. People outside fighting. It was quite the show.

I was charges twice and the lady at the front desk couldn’t help me. The lady when I was checking in didn’t know what she was doing.

Easy check in, clean, beds were comfortable breakfast was good too. My husband enjoyed the hot tub.

It is very dated - everyone is short staffed these days but the room was not ready so they did move us into another clean room. Hard to blame management these days with the staff shortages nationwide.

Lighting in the room is very weak, no TV guide and no real concern that it could not be provided.

Beds were musty smelling. Not as clean as possible. Bugs in bathroom in middle of night. No coffee available during non dining hours. Laundry dryer would not stop for me to retrieve my clothes. Very dangerous, door was open and kept going.

Paid in advance for the room because I wasn’t going to check in until after midnight as i was attending an event and there was nothing that said you needed an incidental deposit upon check in. So I had no choice to drive 2 hours home. Staff were not empathetic or sympathetic and just walked away from the desk after she cancelled my reservation.

Overall the hotel was decent. Room had a musty type of smell to it. Beds were soft and comfy, good water pressure and hot water. Hotel overall could definitely use some upgrades to bring it up to date. Would consider staying there again.
