ザ ウィローズ ホテル(The Willows Hotel)

I used to live in this neighborhood so the location is impeccable. But when we arrived after a long flight we were put in a room where maintenance was fixing the bathroom or something. We left because it was awkward and didn’t have anywhere to put or hide our belongings. This building is very very old. You can hear all the other guests walking or talking. It’s an okay place just remember you’re paying for location. It needs a total renovation, however.

The building is tired! In poor condition and the area is interesting to walk in. Stay somewhere else.

I have zero complaints. I loved my stay here. The staff were all so very nice. The location is perfect for walking to several places near by and then the transit system is extremely convenient for further destinations. The room was very clean and super cozy. Looking forward to staying again.

If the was a rating for sleep quality, I’d rate it 1/5 stars. The smoke detector light was so bright that I had a hard time falling asleep and staying asleep. You can hear everything on your floor, I’d be surprised if you slept more than a few hours.

We loved our stay at the Willows Hotel. The staff was excellent and went above and beyond in helping us with printing some legal documents. We were greeted every time we came in and when we left the desk clerk always wished us a good day. We had a king sized bed that was very comfortable. No this hotel is not the Ritz but it is very charming and clean and in a good area. We felt very safe and will definitely stay again.

Me and my friend had a great experience here! Easy parking nearby, and within walking distance of an L station. Neighborhood was very cute with lots of shops and food options within walking distance. Hotel felt safe and clean, was easy to find and accessible, and very fun decor! Staff was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. Would happily stay at the willows again.

Very comfortable beds and pillows. I enjoyed the architecture and ambiance of the building. The mini-fridge was very mini and stocked full with things to purchase. I had to empty it to fit my few things in. I didn't expect the banging from the radiators, especially because they didn't seem to be on. The parking garage was very close by and reasonably priced.

What a quaint hotel! We wanted something a little more vintage for our recent stay in Chicago. However... the first morning I came out to a $100.00 parking ticket for parking across the street and then had to pay over $25 per night at the parking garage that was a block or so away. I would think offering a discounted parking pass would be great.

Great hotel with super friendly staff. Our go-to hotel in Chicago. Lots of good shops and restaurants in the area.
