This hotel was lovely! We had a small issue with breakfast, as it really is limited. But customer service and everything else was wonderful!

Beautiful boutique hotel, great design, welcoming, we were welcomed with sweet tea and ice water, also cocktails at night at the check-in desk. Bathroom was just as in pictures, beautiful and large, roomy. The area was great, right in the heart of downtown Charleston. Definitely will stay there again!

My husband and I visited Charleston from Canada and stayed at the Palmetto hotel from February 21-26, 2024. We absolutely loved our experience! The hotel is beautiful, clean and charming. The staff are so welcoming and attentive. We especially appreciated Annecia, whom we saw each day during our stay! She was so friendly and genuinely cared about our stay and comfort. The Palmetto is walking distance from many attractions, restaurants and shops. A very short walk to the pier and pineapple fountain too! We truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you to the wonderful staff at the Palmetto for helping make our babymoon a trip to remember.

The Palmetto is great if you want to be in the heart of the French Quarter. However, there can be lots of outside noise as well as thin walls which means ear plugs are a must. Also, breakfast was not great. I did lots of walking and so more protein would have been nice to start the day. There are other options near the hotel though. I appreciate the great staff but will pick another property in the future.

Fabulous place. Older but you could never tell every small detail was addressed. The wallpaper was gorgeous. The staff were all friendly. Would stay again.
