ヴァイン ヴァレー イン(Vine Valley Inn)

An old hotel that is well positioned as a base to explore the Hunter Valley. The renovated bathrooms are a delight. While the beds are clean and comfy, the room furniture is old. The tv has the basics, but no Chromecast. There is a small fridge and a tea/coffee station but no microwave. A self-service breakfast is available in a small shared kitchen. Everything is provided freshly each day. One needs to compete with others for work and stove space, so choosing an off-peak time is important. Everyone is expected to clean up after their use - something not everyone did diligently. There are several stairs to traverse for both the front entrance and car park access. Not easy if you have heavy luggage. The staff are friendly and helpful. For us, spending another $70 a night to upgrade is probably our more likely move when we next visit the magnificent Hunter.

Bed was comfy & clean. Bathroom also v clean. Carpet needs to be replaced. Couch needs cleaning

Access, if door is closed, is via a mobile phone number, and up 2/3 flights of stairs. Hotel has quirky decor/furnishings. Room was large with comfortable bed. Help yourself breakfast of cereals, toasts, eggs, juice. Cleanliness was average - and could do with a spring clean.

Was very comfortable and convenient, being in the centre of Cessnock. breakfast was added bonus, will have to return.

It was a unique type of property in a heritage building, with lots of very interested items

This is an unique property full ofan eclectic range of collectables that were fascinating. The problem for me were the stairs, 3 flights at the front and 4 at the back.

The days gone by atmosphere was lovely and the bed was comfortable. the only negative comment is that the carpet and bathroom could be cleaner.

Was pleasantly surprised with the place. Looked a little rundown from the outside but rooms were excellent. Great Kitchen facilities as well. Location is great and lots of private parking.

In person check in wasn't offered. I would have liked some local recommendations for dinner after a little ng day of driving. Room #1 is above the street and you can hear everything 😮
