カリパトリア イン アンド スイーツ(Calipatria Inn and Suites)

Do NOT stay here. Shocking that this place is allowed to stay open. Blood on the wall, filthy couch, filthy sheets, the air in the room seemed moldy and toxic, the refrigerator was filthy. Owner refused a refund. Unbelievable experience. Was creeped out for several days after.

Called about a room and was told to come by, there is availability. Office door didn't open properly, should have been our first clue. Got a room with 2 beds and before unloading everything I went to make sure it was suitable. There was dried blood on the sheets of one bed. Ugh. So I got out my UV light to see if it was worth just sleeping on the bed but in a sleeping bag. The UV light revealed all layers, cover to mattress, was stained extensively with signs of bed bug activity (none actually seen since it was daytime.) Went to office and spoke with a woman, and she said we could have one of the suites for the same price. I asked if I could inspect it first, she said yes. Went to inspect the the man came with and literally flipped out that I was using the UV light. Yelling at me that he obeys gov't standards and I had no right to do that. We said we wanted a refund (paid in cash) and he refused to return $30 of our money and said it was for labor in remaking the beds. Ugh. Offered to remake the beds and he said no, he wanted that cash. Fine. We left. On a side note, there is a feedlot in the area and you can't get away from the smell.

Place was dirty, refrigerator unplugged and dirty no water pressure in shower. No coffee pot as posted in website.

The staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed here for Salvation mountain trip which was beautiful. The town has only Donut shop ( delicious Sandwiches) and Doller general. Me and my girl crossed the border to get a Sushi lunch. Had a interesting great trip staying here! Super quiet! If u dont mind the bit of Cow smell this is a very chill Inn.

Stay was terrible. Had cockaroches in the room and bathroom. Sheets were not clean. Will noy stay here again.

The room had not been cleaned. There was urine on the toilet seat, and dirty footprints on the floor. A stranger tried to get into our room. When we tried to get a refund, the owner argued with us and hung up on us. Do not stay here.

The room was filthy, not hot water, toilet would not flush, dirty soap in the shower which obviously had not been cleaned. There were multiple spiders in the corners of the walls and spider eggs on the floors by the baseboards. When the front desk was advised of this they said they were aware and didn't try to remedy the situation and they were very nasty. When this was reported to ******* and an ******* agent asked about this, the person at the front desk admitted it was all true and he was nasty to the ******* agent as well. The room was unsafe and unhealthy and management doesn't care. I would guess that the all the rooms are that way and would caution anyone who thinks of staying there to not do it.

Very nice building but needs some attention to details. Mr Deepak was very nice and accommodating.

Not much going on in this town so happy this place is here. The owner is doing his best.
