ペファコ・ホテル・マヤマヤ(Pefaco Hotel Maya Maya)

Excellent clean and quiet hotel despite being across the road from the airport. Nothing to complain about except pricing of food/meals in the main restaurant!

This hotel has had its best days. It was definitely number 1 in the city... 40 years ago. They try to keep everything in order but everything is worn out. Definitely not a 5 star hotel.

Luxurious stay at the end of a rainforest tour. Nice hotel, wonderful pool, particularly good bed. No problem also to change from one twin room to two singles. Not cheap though, but worth it for hassle free time.

The service at restaurant was very poor , and waitress are unfreindly , no one can check on you when you are eating just to ask you if you need anything . when i needed anything i had to go to them instead of them to come to me. And if you speak english , it wil be hard to you to get something to eat , but you can eat their preference because what you like will be hard to explain in french that you don't even know.

I can't begin to thank Raymond and his team for the wonderful stay at Pefaco. The location was tops. Walking distance to the airport, and maximum 10 minutes from all the main attractions, including the banks of the mighty Congo. We were in Congo under some pretty hostile conditions and the hotel felt like a safe haven. Nothing was too much for Raymond. I would've preferred if more staff spoke English, as it would've made communication easier. But it didn't affect service levels at all. The food was heavenly as were the cocktails. The breakfast buffet was stellar, but the scrambled eggs were the best I've EVER had  just perfect. In fact, every meal was delicious. Kudos to the chef and his team. Loved the pool area as well. By day and night. Rooms were comfortable despite being a little outdated. My only criticism was the slow towel service. Raymond, you are the hero of this establishment. Thanks for everything you did for me and the team.

For a hotel that charges almost a steep price, I expected a better standard at everything. The rooms, meals etc were just basic. No special and no wow factor. Internet can be poor sometimes. Food order takes time to be prepared and made ready. Reception have some flying insects at times. In general, the hotel could do more for the amount it charges.
