ノーザン ホテル(Northern Hotel)

As frequent patrons we stay at the Northern even when it’s more expensive. We feel that loyal customers such as ourselves should be recognized upon walking up to the desk. A system should be set up to accommodate this. Otherwise we would give the Northern 5 Star rating.

Some ass thought it was funny to bang on our door at 12:30am and wake us from a dead sleep. Also late night dinner will not happen.

Beautiful, classy, well redone Hotel from 1909! Great location downtown Billings with short shuttle ride to airport.

This is our hotel of choice when visiting family, however, you need to update some things. The shower heads do not adjust very well; when you do get that sweet spot-not freezing or scalding, there is no pressure. Your pillows are lumpy and too thick. The mattresses are starting to have the roll to the middle effect but are comfortable.(Room 708) I know there were signs on the elevators BUT they are so slow!!! It was everyone's complaint coming in and out. On the positive, staff is very friendly, very nice gift shop, convenient to shops and eateries, rooms are designed well, staff is accommodating to special request like needing a fridge etc., and large covered parking.

Hotel was amazing, clean, friendly employees, excellent food. It was really nice to have such a professional team!

The front desk was very good. The bed and shower were very good. Things went sideways for me with the airport shuttle . I called for a pickup and was told the driver was on his way to pick up a pilot but he would be there soon. I waited and saw the shuttle suburban. Two pilots were loading their luggage so I asked if I could put mine in too and was told no but he would be right back. So 3 empty seats drove away leaving me in 32 degree weather waiting for a shuttle that just left. I’ve been to a couple county fairs in my life and I know a suburban will hold two pilots luggage and one more carry on. When the driver dropped me off his body language acted like it was time for a tip. If he is not too stupid he will not leave the next passenger out in the cold.

This is an old fashioned wonderful hotel. They have 24-hour valet parking. A very good restaurant for dinner. A lovely gift shop. And actually cheerful employees that appear to like working there. They don't have coffee in the room but the rest of it is so wonderful it doesn't matter.

ALL the employees we came in contact with were so friendly and smiley. Everyone seemed very happy to work there. The room was neat and clean. We had drinks in the bar and we ate at Bernies. We used the valet and even walked through the boutique. Friendly and helpful people at every spot. We enjoyed our little getaway.

I have always loved staying at this hotel until this stay. The carpet if vacuumed was poorly done and the bathroom was not clean. The elevator was filthy and wall outside of 5th floor elevator had something spilled all over the wall. Very disappointed.
