我們選擇留在Gunung Paradis，因為它提供了遠離擁擠的旅遊勝地的避難所。事實上確實如此：鬱鬱葱葱的綠色花園充滿了鳥鳴和樹葉在微風中搖曳的聲音。整個服務都根據我們的需求量身定製：早餐、晚餐、當地景點的參觀。整個員工都非常樂於助人、禮貌而善良，有了合適的團隊，整個體驗就變得最棒了。Gunung Paradis的主人Karien和Jack是最好的主人，如果你決定在Gunung Paradis住宿，你不會後悔。

If you are looking for a getaway from crowded spots, somewhere where you would not feel the need to listen to music other than the hums, chirps, and murmurs of trees, birds, and nature, you've come to the right place. This retreat's garden truly is Paradise on Earth, and we loved spending our time here, starting from an abundant and slow breakfast, all the way up to after sunset. For breakfast, we enjoyed the Paradise special, and it was more than a person can eat, complemented with local Bali filtered coffee (although you can have other coffees as well). Breakfast is merely one of the many great services Gunung Paradise offers. Our kind host, Widi, was always there for us, whether to drive us, serve our meals, make our beds, or provide full room service. All of this exists thanks to two great hosts and individuals, Karien and Jack, who have shared with us local ceremonies, Balinese dinners, stories, and the history of Bali. A truly lovely, warmhearted experience.

This has been my best accommodation in Bali and it is difficult to know where to start. The setting is nothing short of spectacular with mountains and tropical forest and the views from everywhere are spellbinding. The rental villa is comfortable, furnished with great taste boasting traditional Balinese open roof bathroom. The grounds are also great, dominated by a huge swimming pool flanked by two dolphin sculptures and instead of canvas-made shade with lounging chairs, the owners planted a tree in the shape of a parasol: a marvellous touch. The owners, Jack and Karien were nost gracious and invited me for a traditional Balinese dinner and showed me their own villa which has many pieces of art (paintings and sculptures) created by Karien. And, as for the gigantic opne air bathroom, I think even Cleopatra would have been pleased! Last but not the least, the owners also assembled a gerat staff. The cook Koma is great and the butler Sudi also perfect. Thank you so much for your hospitality Jack and Karien.

The rooms are located in a beautiful villa. Our comfortable and nicely furnitured room was on the ground floor and had a lovely view on the lush garden. The Dutch owners are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was served in our own pergola. A very good spot to relax and a good starting point to make excursions.

We had a wonderful week at Gunung Paradis. It is a beautiful location, peaceful and relaxing, and with a staff that does everything they can to make sure you have a great experience. Every day you can order meals from the menu, which is then prepared and set out in your own private dining area, which makes every meal feel special. There is also a menu of activities that are recommended that the staff will help organize for you. Overall, a beautiful escape that our entire family loved.

We loved it! About as close to paradise as you’ll get, with fabulous accomodation, beautiful views, a variety of nearby (and great value) excursions and a lovely team to look after your every need. We rented both villas for our party of 15, and were able to enjoy plenty of together space (especially round the pool) as well as sneaking some quiet time when needed. Thanks so much to Karien and Jack for allowing us to invade their wonderful place, and to Widi, Sudi and team for their unfailingly excellent and friendly service. We quickly felt part of the family, and were sad to say our goodbyes. We would recommend the cooking lesson with Putu, the snorkelling trip, trekking in Munduk (beautiful waterfall) and the on-premises massages and treatments which were incredible. The rijstaffel meal, which we enjoyed on New Year’s Eve, was also a highlight.

Au cœur d’une nature luxuriante Gunung Paradise est calme et reposant. Notre hôte Karien a été très prévenante. Quant au personnel un vrai bonheur. Merci à Sudi pour sa disponibilité, son soucis de toujours bien comprendre notre demande. Il a été un excellent guide pour visiter son village. Merci aussi à Widi le manager pour sa disponibilité. Si vous recherchez le calme dans un cadre authentique n’hésitez pas Gunung Paradise répondra à votre envie. Belle expérience Marianne et Alain

Le Paradis ! Nous avions une magnifique maison pour nous 4 avec 2 chambres et 2 salles de bain ouverte sur la végétation luxuriante. Belle piscine. Carte très complète et service personnalisé pour nos repas. Très bon. Très bel accueil.

Les extérieurs de cet hôtel sont très beaux. Terrasse de la chambre donnant sur un jardin avec une table extérieur en surplomb (même si le bruit de la route gâche un peu la quiétude des lieux, cela n'en reste pas moins très agréable). L'intérieur de la chambre ( nous étions en chambre et non en villa ce qui explique peut être cela) est par contre moyen, rustique. Cela mériterait un rafraichissement et une nouvelle décoration. Nous avions extra bed sur lequel il était impossible de dormir tellement les ressorts étaient durs. Néanmoins le lit nous a immédiatement été changé le lendemain lorsque nous l'avions signalé. Le personnel de l'hôtel est à notre disposition et très agréable. Il n'y a pas de réception mais un "butler" qui vient ponctuellement nous demander ce que nous souhaitons ( j'ai trouvé cela un peu gênant voir intrusif d'avoir une personne arrivant par la terrasse sans prévenir). Nous avons mangé un soir à l'hôtel (à savoir qu'il n'y a aucun restaurant ni warung accessibles à pied aux alentours de l'hôtel) et nous avons été très déçu du repas. C'est relativement cher pour bali et nous avons mieux mangé dans tous les warungs qu'ici ( peut être un coup de malchance car les avis semblent bons sur le restaurant de l'hôtel mais nous avions pris 3 plats différents et nous avons tous été déçus. Personnellement j'avais pris du poulet et je n'ai eu que du gras). Le second soir nous avons préféré manger des produits achetés au supermarché. Idem pour le petit déjeuner, moyen et peu copieux ( choix entre deux oeufs / pain ou 2 crêpes ou déjeuner local + boissons et fruits)
