We had booked this hotel for one night stay. I had a bit of a hard time locating it as it’s name has either changed or is misspelled- it is Al Ra’ad. I agree with a review from 2019 - this hotel has ok location, just outside are plenty of restaurants including local places and fast food such as Pizza Hut and KFC. They offer $15 passes to a beach club which is “few walking min away” which really is more like a 20 min excursion. Rooms were fine, bathrooms were ok too. My lower rating is based on experience with staff which was not helpful.

Arrived at the check-in time the requested room wasn't ready the offered to give me a different room when i said no the made me wait for my room the staff was not professional the rules wasn't clear at the hotels site and when a friend came to my room to pick-up something for me they called me asking that they should leave the room immediately talking to me with unprofessional way and calling me 6 times under 5 minutes and when i asked for the manager they changed the situation and told the manager a different story just to justify their unprofessional behaviour management was nice and apologised but that wasn't enough to make the stuff behave nicely after i came back at night checking me and asking me where I'm going

Good last minute hotel. We were rained out in Wadi Rum, and had to find a last minute hotel for the tour group. This was a decent hotel. The beds were soft! And when we asked for more pillows, they happily brought them to us. We asked for another comforter and they brought that as well. We had an issue with the lamp and a lightbulb burned out, and the front desk immediately took care of the issues. They had a breakfast buffet which was so-so. They had hard boiled eggs...no other option for eggs. And the rest of the buffet was really not to my liking, so I would rate it a one star. Not great, at all. The lobby was nice, except EVERYONE smoked. I am a non-smoker and could not sit in the lobby due to the smoke. The front desk was awesome. Very accommodating with any requests. We wanted to walk about and see the local shops and they drew us a map. Wonderful. Would I stay here again? Yes.

Stayed two nights, once at start and once at end of a week in Jordan. No hot water in first room (3rd floor). second room (5th floor) much nicer, newer hot water. V comfy bed, warm. Great location for a visit to Aqaba. Map of town available at front desk. Clean. Veggie options for breakfast great, for half board dinner very limited (not sure if our travel co had passed on our requirements). All in all I would be happy to stay again.

Our twin room was clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. You do have to flick a switch in a cupboard to turn on the hot water. If not you will have cold water for the basin and shower / bath. The TV in the room had no english speaking channels... The breakfast was OK with a selection of boiled eggs, vegetables, yoghurt, luncheon type meat, cheese, tea, coffee, fruit juice and corn flakes. On the other side, dinner was quite good with several choices of very tasty food. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Lots of shops and nice restaurants around. The hotel is about 10min walk to the beach.

Hotel with a good location. Keycards in hotel doesn't work, I had a problem with the keycard which was not opening my door 3 times while I stayed in this hotel 3 days. Rooms are not clean, had problem with air conditoner. Locker in room does not work. Food is not great, cofee and tea are only at breakfast. Wi-Fi connection in hotel is terrible.
